You can see what game it's from in the lower-right corner of the comic description. It's Ni no Kuni.

It's made by the people responsible for such films ad Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Princess Mononoke.

Child wizards shouldn't drink coffee. They should be drinking pumpkin juice and butterbeer.

As a side note, he isn't actually heavily buzzed in this comic. He's shaking out of annoyance and he's stuttering because he's actually Ominas Crowe as a child.

Ha! I just started playing this yesterday. It starts off pretty depressing... and I've only just gotten my handful of spells and a little goblin pocket-sized monster, so maybe it gets worse? I was frankly more worried about who leaves coffee just lying about in crazy fairy world in the first place, and how is it still iced after sitting there for 1d10 days? Magic, I suppose.

Also, Mr. Drippy is the Lord High Lord of All Fairies, according to himself. Also a professed liar. Probably no manipulation of emotionally distressed children in this game.
