Sorry but... I didn't find it funny.

How do Space Pirates (not from Earth) know what a rabbit looks like anyway?

Plus it doesn't really look that much like a rabbit in my opinion.

In panel two the other Space Pirates are sitting at a table, whereas in panel three they appear to be standing/leaning over a set of stairs.

I think it looks like a rabbit. Generally anything with large, ear-like appendages looks like a rabbit though. The joke was kind of weak, but the artwork was decent.

The problem is the human brain uses straight lines to determine geometry - in the above featured panel my own personal brain comes to the conclusion that the lines and shapes in the background + the way the space pirates are standing = there is a stairway there.

So therefore Plasma I must determine that:
