I was here a while ago, I was shown the comics by a friend, liked them, finished reading them all and decided to get onto the forums and see what you people were talking about. I don't think anyone really knew me or cared, but there were a few of you that I remembered and wanted to say 'Hi' to again. Maybe I'm lonely, all the forum sites I usually go on seem to have died, my XBox friends are all playing games I can't afford, and I'm way to lazy to have a social life otherwise than the people I skateboard with.
I just read all of the comics again, and I wanted to say something to Katie, and I'm not consistently good with words, I'll do my best though.
I noticed that in a lot of the explanations you are pointing out the 'flaws' in your drawings (most of which I can't even comprehend) and I just felt I needed to say this; (could be because it's three in the morning and I'm half out of my mind, but...) What I love most about your comics is the mass exaggeration of the limits of physics, reality and emotions. In one you complained about the car being impossibly righted in the next panel, I can't tell if you were joking, but that was one of the funniest things I saw, there was no need to apologize!
I'll sum it up here; the 'mistakes' and 'flaws' in your comics are so wonderfully original, that if they didn't occur, I may not even read them, and further attempt to read all of the 'Least I Could Do' comics, not bad, but many, many comics...
Manga artists differ the looks of simple details to their preference, and that can make the difference between, say the difference between the way Rumiko Takahashi (Inu Yasha) or (a lesser known) Mark Crilley (Miki Falls) Draws the eyes of their characters. Without those subtle differences, these comics could be made by the same person.
I hope you understand, and continue to develop your originality in your comics and realize that the most critical person you will ever encounter about your drawings, is yourself. Everyone else is but here to enjoy them.
Kyle.
