Liking the griffon? Or liking the stud who hands over the griffon so nonchalantly? Relationship secured, uber-babies on the way.

How to train and then abandon your dragon?

It's Fire Emblem Awakening.

I never made Cherche a griffon rider. Just kept her a Wyvern Lord.

I have yet to play Fire Emblem: Awakening but I looked it up. She is a Wyvern Rider who has a close tie to her wyvern, Minerva, had her since she was 9, they grew up together, yada yada. But as a Wyvern Rider she can promote to either a Wyvern Lord or a Griffon Rider, that's what this comic is about. Why would they give her such a big story bond to the wyvern then if she picks Griffon Rider it's like throwing all that away.

I finally got this game yesterday. I can't wait for more webcomics about this game.

Maybe it's like a "good and bad end"? Ideally, she'd stick with her Wyvern, but maybe she's a dick and would leave her friend for a Griffon because it's cooler or plain better.

You as a player decide her path.

Her son, the other, wveryan rider of the party is in the same boat. and in fact its the same mount, his is just her from the future. Though you could give cherche the gryphon after he joins the party and it kinda makes sense... You're probably better off reclassing someone else or picking up someone from an older game via spot pass and reclassing them or use someone else's avatar via street pass...

I always just saw it as the wyvern transforming into a gryphon during class change. And then questioning why my soldiers can't become gryphons.

Same here. Just didn't feel right making Cherche abandon Minerva.

I did make Nowi a Griffon rider, though.

I hear Fire Emblem: Awakening is the best game ever
But I hate turn-based strategy games
Should I buy Yes/No

It depends.
I've played the majority of Western released Fire Emblems (safe the DS ones, was sort of on a gaming hiatus) and I personally don't like it that much, it's still enjoyable to me but it's down there with Sacred stones on my favourites list.

What I HAVE noticed however, is that people who didn't like Fire Emblem that much before do enjoy Awakening a lot, so I suppose it's the streamlining that does it.
I think there's a Demo for Awakening in the 3DS eShop, so that might help you decide.

Unless you're prepared to change your mind, no.

Katie, shame on you. You should know that they ride alicorns, not unicorns.
Not to be confused with bloodthirsty vampiric unicorns, called "alicards."

Location: That.. is actually a VERY good question.. Help?
Panel 4 would make a pretty decent avvy if it wasn't so big.

I mean who would pass up an irritated dragon staring at their post? It is NEVER SATISFIED.

It's been shrunk down to an appropriate size

And in case anyone wants it, here are the fruits of 30 seconds of back breaking work:
