Another thing which irks me about dragons posing as people. Why do they fight in their human form? I mean, theyre huge, armored beasts with flamethrower breath. Just have bad guys go , "Ha Imma kill you- *CHOMP*

Problem solved. Heck, some of the dragons I know that can shapeshift wont do it even to keep people from wetting themselves in their company. One of my dragons, Varnon, basically assumes if your in the same room as a dragon for 5 minutes youll cope.

Whats so attractive about using a human form anyways?

For the same reason you don't use a battle tank to hit infantry. Smaller things are much harder to hit and if they swarm they can destroy the tank.

It's because they need Dragonstones to actually achieve dragon form. They mention in one support that they are a rare commodity that shouldn't be wasted on trivial uses, only when it's really necessary.

I assume "human" is their natural form, and they aren't "dragons," just "people who can magically turn into dragons." When you first meet Bantu in Shadow Dragon and Tiki in Awakening, they don't have stones and remain human.

I think the deal with dragons in FE went something like this (correct me if I'm wrong)...

See, dragons used to be all powerful and pretty much rule the earth. They want a human sacrifice? Boom, got one. One day, God/Naga (not sure) said "No, you know what, no more of that." So he/she made dragons seal their power away in dragonstones lest they go mad from power. Pretty much every earth dragon said screw that and promptly went mad and were sealed underground. Medeus, the king of Earth dragons, did seal his power away, and thus managed to keep his sanity and whatnot as he went mad from seeing his own kind go mad and saw humans mistreat the dragons in their now not-powerful forms. So he did what any reasonable dragon would do and banded together some gullible humans and some other human hating manaketes (what the dragons are called after they had their power sealed into stones) and started a war to engulf all the humans. Naga then decided Medeus had to die and gave a guy named Anri the Falchion and Fire Emblem, which he used to kill Medeus. Because he was evil they called him the shadow dragon.

And that is everything I care to remember about dragons right now.

Shame some dragons just cant keep control of themselves. XD I had to chain Ganera up to a temple with bracelets that cut her soul out from her body, to keep her from putting the whole world under the ocean.
