Here's an idea for a Breath of the Wild comic, although I never had the opportunity to play it, I saw a few let's plays on youtube :

Link finally getting to Ganon
Ganon performing a big speech only to stop in the middle of it, realizing Link is holding a chicken
Link throws said chicken at Ganon who proceeds to hit it mid-air, mildly annoyed
Progressive zoom on Link's blank, staring face as Ganon screams in agony, attacked by dozens of chickens, saying such things as "NOT THE EYES !".

Edit : Here's a video for context : https://thumbs.gfycat.com/LateActualAne ... mobile.mp4
Credits to VideoGameDunkey for making the video, Polygon was using it on their website so I snatched it from there :

So I cant help wondering but since your comics seems to fit my style of humor. Since your now playing Breath of the wild and writing some comics. Have you met the flower lady? And will you be drawing a comic based upon her?

Katie probably finished BotW ages ago. IIRC she tends to have a bit of a comic backlog that she uploads... Or she used too anyway.

Pretty simple idea for a BotW comic came to mind, and it's good enough I felt it warranted bringing up. I was recently watching my fiancée play, and as she was traveling around a forest, she decided to take pictures of deer and a boar for her compendium.

The difficulty came from the fact she had Wolf Link accompanying her, who felt that it was a fine time to go hunting, so as she's preparing to snap the picture, Wolf Link goes running past her barking, and all she got in frame was the deer's booty as it dove into some bushes.

I can just imagine link being all sneaky, crouched in the bushes with his camera rune active when this starts to play out, ending in the inevitable prompt of "Delete or save"

Here's a Sucker, Punch:
Katie has a badly wounded Pokemon to heal, but only has Revives left. Looks at Revives, looks at Pokemon. Sticks a Revive in its mouth and then punches it in the face. The Pokemon faints only to be revived with more HP.

"Were Were Here" is a great free game on Steam. Play it with a friend you don't mind enraging. When I was in the Library my poor brother got really mad that I was going around exploring and trying to read all the books instead of getting right to the info he needed to escape. Also what do you do if your buddy is color blind? I feel like a lot of puzzle games rely on ability to distinguish colors too.

Snow Confused

The two hapless protagonists are talking on the radio.
Librarian: Okay, we've got this! This puzzle has a key right here. What color are the thingies?
Explorer: Ummmm, grey? Dark Grey? I don't know...
Librarian: I don't see grey on thi-Are you color-blind?!
Explorer: ...Yeah. Um, we're doomed huh?

There is probably a color blind mode. Most games with color focused puzzles either have modes for different types of color blindness or just overlay different symbols over the colors

Fun fact:

Color blindness isn't just vision in grayscale. It is caused by someone's eyes lacking certain color cones, often causing the individual to only see two of the major light wavelengths or only being able to see a single color altogether.
In many cases, other colors do exist, but they are heavily muted in comparison.
Facebook has a primarily blue color scheme because the founder of Facebook is only able to vividly see shades of blue.

Rock Candy:
Link is in Dodongo's Cavern when Navi takes her eyes off him. He tries eating one of the rocks.
LINK: "Gah...How is this gourmet?"
NAVI: "Well it's not like you know what it tastes like compared to other rocks."
LINK: "That's a good point."
Link leaves.
NAVI: "That wasn't permission to eat more rocks!!"

Akumom (Street Fighter 5, or 3)

Akuma is walking down a trail in the country, leaving a wake of dead plants (as he sometimes does).
Akuma: 'Masters, I know you are somewhere this way...'
Akuma sees a silhouette further down the path, and starts grinning, but as the figure approaches it's small, a kid, Mel Masters.
Mel: 'Oh hello! I was hiking with my dad and got lost! Are you Akumom? You have red hair, and you're wearing the same thing as my dad when he's fighting, but he said you're a bad man, but I don't think you're bad if you'll help me find him, even if you smell like old farts, but don't tell my dad I said 'farts' (etc, etc, the next panel goes back to Akuma with a 'wut' face, while Mel's dialogue fills the background).
The final panel has a deadpan Akuma walking down the path, carrying Mel on his shoulders, who is happily jabbering away.

Breath of the Wild: in hateno village there is a dye shop where you can dye your clothes. this is done by wearing the clothes while holding colored items and being put into a pool of water. link's entire body goes into the pool so i want a comic where link is about to dye some clothes a color, and when the cloud of smoke dissapates, it should zoom in on link and have his face be PANK or something. the end.

Has anyone else tried to ride a skeleton stalhorse to the stables, befriended it on the way and got offended when the guy rejected the monster horse? That seems like a comic idea for breath of the wild. The guy said my horse would probably eat the other horses there. What does he know, it hasn't tried to eat Link at all.

Also somehow I killed a bear by trying to ride it like a horse. Wonder if you could tame a bear though and try to board it at the stables. Or is link somehow too heavy for bears to handle...

Superdad (Guardians of the galaxy 2) Minor spoilers!

Quinn and ... his dad are playing pass with the energy ball when Quinn tells his dad to hold on a second. Quinn tries to shoot a Kamehameha, but the ball just falls out of his hands. His dad picks up the ball, saying that's a little too advanced, and suggests he 'tries this', and shoots a Hadoken.
Quinn is impressed, and says that it was 'new to him'. His dad is surprised by this and says that when they get back home he has to make a Super Nintendo.
Quinn is really hyped that his dad can make a 'Super' Nintendo, and asks him if he can make a Super Sega too.
Whether his dad just murders Quinn right then and there, or is frozen in shock at the blasphemous idea of a 'Super Sega' is up to Katie's discretion.

Foot Race/Athlete's Foot:
Captain Falcon Races to the Finish at high speed and wins. Link comes in last and out of breath.
LINK: "How are you so fast?"
FALCON: "I race for a living, kid."
Cutaway to Captain Falcon racing in his Blue Falcon in the Flintstones style.

I know I've seen color blind options in some games but I hate to imagine playing Puzzle Fighter 2 with the any form of color deficiency.

I didn't know that about Facebook and that explains so much.
