Scene: A village smithy. A blacksmith is at work at his bench as Chrom (or the Tactician, or Corn) walks in.

Chrom: I'd like you to forge something for me.

Blacksmith: What'll it be?

Chrom drops a tree branch/log/ladle onto the workbench.

Chrom: I'd like you to improve this weapon.

The blacksmith looks intensely confused.

Corrosion of Conformity/Soft Drive/Acid Poketch:
Trainer Katie encounters Salandit and watches as it poisons one of her Steel types.
KATIE: "I must have it."
Katie catches it. Picks up Pokeball. Ball begins to dissolve in her hands. Starts juggling it to save her hands. The Pokeball digitizes.
Salandit was transferred to BOX 3.
Katie sighs and heads to the Pokecenter. Steps inside only to see the computer is melting.

With Pokemon Go being so popular, I have some questions:
If an Eevee wants to be a Jolteon, are you deciding its life by naming it "Pyro"?
What happens to the Pokemon that get ground up into candies? Does the Pokemon that the candies are used on suddenly absorb the souls of other Pokemon? (Multiple Poké-nality Disorder)
Even though Pokemon is currently restricted to Gen 1, what would happen if you found a Wailord?
I imagine Team Valor acting all high and mighty, consisting of those who have the latest smartphone and wearing suits and ties. Team Mystic seems mysterious, full of pirates and ninjas and kayakers. Team Instinct are the hobos that wildly run everywhere for no reason, and that's why there are less on the team.


I'm team green, or the team that can't actually get the game. But I would be Team Instinct.

Dead Ringer:
Trainer Norrin runs up to Trainer Katie.
NORRIN: "Look what I caught!! A Shiny Chespin!!"
KATIE: "You caught a brown one?!"
NORRIN: "Brown?"
Norrin opens Pokeball and releases a battered Sonic the Hedgehog.

Alternate delivery, Quilladin uses Shell Smash or Spiky Shield only to have Brick Break used on it. The shell breaks apart to reveal Sonic in facepaint.

Alternate alternate delivery, Trainer has Pokemon use Shell Smash to increase their speed. Katie has her Quilladin do the same thing. The Quilladin's armor cracks open just long enough for a blue blur to fly out and knock out her opponent before returning.

Gotta Go Fast:
Trainer Katie arrives at the Daycare to find out she has an egg to pick up. Which is weird because she left her Chespin in there alone. Egg hatches suddenly revealing a blue Chespin. Sonic is seen running away in the background.

I've had this idea since I played MGS5 when it came out. The style of humor I think would fit it perfectly, and I've been waiting until she started making MGSV comics. Plus I finally decided to make an account.

The entire time, Snake just has that same aggressive demeanor no matter the situation.

Tree of Might Be Giants/Blood Redwood/Wood Hammer/Ent Dents/Dead and Berried:
Trainer Katie is planting a Berry in Alola. She buries it, and starts to water it. An Alola Exeggutor wanders by, tall as all hell. She watches it Jurassic Park across the skyline. She doesn't notice the ground shaking where she's watering.
KATIE: "Jeez, they grow big out here..."
Berry bush explodes out of the ground uppercutting Trainer Katie as it reaches toward the sky. Possibly have giant Berries fall off Bushzilla and bury her.

There is a certain move in Pokemon called Confide.

The flavor text reads "The user tells the target a secret, and the target loses its ability to concentrate. This lowers the target's Sp. Atk. stat. " I have a feeling a comic could be based on this, but I'm not sure what kind of secret a Pokemon would have that would blow another Pokemon's mind.

I felt like Brawl in the Family already did this, but for some reason I can't see the comics, so the only thing I found was this.

Monster Hunters Are Super Wasteful

Inspired by my Fashion Hunter Crime of killing 33 Gargwas in Portable 3rd... To make a hat that looks like a Gargwa's head.

EDIT: For further MonHun horror, keep in mind that the main ingredient of this hat is... Seven, count them, seven Gargwa feathers.

No more HMs. Or a fifth move exists.

Forget that, what happens if you found an original Missingno, the glitched pile of sprites? Busted game? Busted phone? Busted everything?

Sigtama (OPM / MMX)
Saitama is squaring off against Sigma, who keeps getting destroyed in one punch, only to come back in a bigger body. This escalates until he's the size Wyzen, of the first God in Asura's Wrath (who eclipsed the planet).
He still gets destroyed in one punch, although Saitama's wrist is a bit sore after. He glances over and sees Asura without any limbs at all and decides not to complain.

Slight Spoilers for MGSV:

During the final boss fight with Sahalanthropus, your "support team" is constantly dropping supplies...whether you need them or not.

Now as you are fighting an super robot you are probably kitted out with pricy stuff....like rocket launchers and grenade pistols...all the EXPENSIVE supplies. Plus the Helicopter just won't stay out of the action so if Sahalanthropus destroys that too that's another cut out of the budget.

Cue comic: Big Boss yelling at his support crew to stop dropping supplies as they cost too much. Then eventually Diamond Dogs goes into the red from the increasing costs in this fight so that people start quitting and you start losing resources.

Cue Big Boss hiding behind a rock while Sahalanthropus shoots a railgun at it frantically doing accounting on his iDroid to balance the books and stop his troops from abandoning him en masse.

Herd of Zebras/ Different Differential/ Doc Holys%#t/Uninsurable/HMOMG:
Dr. Mario is giving checkups to the Smash cast. He tests Sonic's reflexes. Sonic's knee kicks before the hammer can even touch embedding it in a wall. He draws some blood from Samus and checks it under a microscope, revealing microscopic glowing feathered Metroids. He gets out a stethoscope and checks R.O.B.'s pulse, gets nothing. Checks Link's pulse, hears a rapid machine gun staccato from multiple hearts.
DR. MARIO: "You should all be dead, but aren't. Congratulations."

Rinse, repeat for various characters, forumites.

Pitbull Pokemon/Yelling Timburr:
Trainer Katie defeats an Alolan Exeggutor. It faints and falls over, taking out a couple buildings and powerlines. Katie looks on in horror. To extend the joke, make it a Trainer battle and have it withdrawn after fainting only for the opponent to send out another one.

Grand Theft Taco/Michelin Mission/Hell's Kitchen:
A couple goes to a Five Star restaurant. The police, SWAT, and army surround the place and unload on it.
