One of the easiest way to grind R&D is to complete short missions.
Shortest mission in PW is "Date with Paz."

R&D Team (Holding blueprints):
"Boss, we'll get right on this!"

"Where are you off to next?"

"Uhhhh...."

"I dunno. I guess I'll just go bang Paz for a couple of hours."



You could sub it with "Make out with Paz" for a more pg version.

Fire Emblem Fates idea

For Conquest, and if you use a female Avatar:


Xander: Since you now know you were adopted from Hoshido, and are therefore not related by blood to me, I have something to tell you.

Avatar: Oh? What's that? Also, wasn't I kidnapped?

Xander: I have romantic feelings for you.

Avatar: Ooooookay, but I still look at you like you're my brother, so this feels weird.

Leo: STOP, BROTHER! Leave her alone! You can't have those kinds of feelings for her!

Avatar: Oh thank god, Leo.

Leo: Because I'm in love with her! Marry me!

Hello. New poster, longtime fan. (Is it weird that my favorite ones are the 24-hour comics?)

I wanted to submit some of my ideas that's been floating around for a while (I can't remember most of them right now though) but I've no artistic talent to actually draw them. Instead I just end up photoshopping them or editing videos. Like the following:

How Tidus got his name:
Jecht: So, have you thought of a name yet?
Tidus' mom: Well, I want him to be like you. I want him to grow big, be popular with the guys, but still be close to every girl's heart. What can you think of that fits those traits?
Jecht: tiddies.
Tidus' mom: Did you say tee-dus?
Jecht: ..... Sure.
Tidus' mom: I like it. We'll name him Tidus.

Delectable:
Marth gets chewed up by a bunch of Smashers. Gets up and leaves the battlefield to take a shower. Sighs and looks down at his arm. Licks it.
MARTH: "By the Goddess...I'm delicious!!"
Possible additional punchline has his bodywash of choice indicating that it's honey flavored or something.

Alternate form of the joke as follows. Yoshi eats an opponent. Spits and launches him away. Roy stares questioningly. Several scenes follow throughout the day as Roy slowly goes mad with some unspoken thought. Finally yells out in the middle of a quiet movie viewing with several of the characters.
ROY: "ALRIGHT OUT WITH IT YOSHI...WHAT DO PEOPLE TASTE LIKE!?"

Stinking Badges:
Bug Catcher or some random Trainer with low level Pokemon stands before the entrance to Victory Road. Hands over a case holding eight badges to the guard there. The guard looks down at eight random badges from Nintendo Badge Arcade. Bob-omb, Goron Mask, Triforce, etc. Hands the case back to the kid.
GUARD: "Sure whatever, kid. Have fun."
Guard ignores screams as kid enters dark cave and lights a cigarette.

Don't Toy With Me:
Adventurer Katie is told she'll have to wait for her balloons to inflate before she can go adventuring again or pay a fee. Katie jumps on the back of a Latios and flips off the Balloon Store Owner. Flies off.

Pregnancy Delays:(Fire Emblem Fates)

One of the ladies in Katie's army, let's say Peri, comes bursting out of her tent with her husband Benny.

Peri: "Lady Katie! Fantastic news! I'm pregnant!"

Katie: "That's wonderful! Now, time to put this war on hold."

Peri: "Wait what? Why....?"

Katie: "We need every man we can get and that baby will be a powerful asset."

Peri: "I don't think that's-"

Katie: "WHO'S IN THE CHARGE OF THIS ARMY, HUH?"

Here's a Fire Emblem Fates idea, and a super-duper non-spoiler one, too.

The main character and Azura are barefoot. Sure, that might be fine at home, but I imagine they have some hobbit-level callouses or blisters or splinters or infections and stuff. Because they're barefoot.

Wise Words(Fates Spoiler?)
Corn meets Azura for the first time on the bridge, Azura asks Corn who they are, Corn simply responds with a loud "SORRY!"

It really bugged me when they played that sound, hurting the opening of the scene.

Hyper Upgrade (Advanced Wars)

Andy's forces get beat up a bit and he uses his super CO power. His infantry turn into cyborgs. Maybe Sami is involved somehow? I dunno.

Persona Queue
The gang(whatever combination you feel fits best, but it needs Koromaru) are in the 3rd labyrinth wandering around.
Whoever is supporting(again, your choice) says that there's something nearby, and the group turns around to find that there's a line of those baby FOEs following them.
Due to game mechanics, they wont move when you aren't moving, so the party stands still. Koromaru runs ahead because he sees a bone at the end of the hall, causing the FOEs to charge.

Let's see if I can come up with anything of any worth whatsoever (unlikely, but I might as well try). IT'S 'BOUT THE POKEYMANS.

Sweet Burn (this name is just a placeholder at the moment)
[We open on a battle between Katie and Wally. Wally already has Mega Gallade out, while Katie has a Magcargo]
Katie: "Magcargo..." (a smile spreads across her face) "Body Slam".
[Cut to later, inside of a Pokemon Centre]
Nurse: "I'm sorry, sir, but it's bad news..."
[Wally bursts into tears. Katie holds out her hand, seeming as though she was going to offer support, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the reward cheddar from their battle and walking away.]

If you don't quite get this one, it's referring to Magcargo's Pokedex entries ("Magcargo's body temperature is approximately 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit" in Alpha Sapphire).

I've recently been playing FE:Fates, so I got a couple ideas that complement a few previous comics.

1. Fates reintroduces the singer who lets a single unit go again, but what's stopping another adjacent unit, ally or foe, from listening to the song and gaining the effects as well? Heck, unless she's whispering the song, units far away should be able to hear it too.

2. Fates continued to use the pair up system where an ally can block an attack, as shown in the Awakening comic, Dual Scarred. But with the inclusion of the Diviner class who use magic scrolls made of wood, you could show one of those diviners blocking an attack and finding itself unable to attack because the scrolls she used to block with are now chopped in half.

3. One of the annoying things I found throughout FE games is that I don't get to heal injured units after the objective is completed, as if those injured units don't want to be healed and not allow the healers to get much-needed EXP.

A trail of blood leading all the way to the next battlefield.

Comic Strip/Rain Dance/Burlesque For Less:
Trainer sends out Gardevoir against Meowth. Meowth uses Payday. Gardevoir shows a little leg. Meowth uses Payday again. Gardevoir reveals some shoulder. Meowth uses Payday. Gardevoir uses Rain Dance. Other suggestive techniques. Trainer realizes what's up. Grabs his Gardevoir and sternly sends her away and stares daggers at the pervy Meowth. Frowns and walks away, but not before picking up the discarded coins.

Viscous Cycle/Sticky Situation/Covered in Recovery:
Mario, Peach, and Bowser are battling bad guys when they run out of FP. Mario tosses Bowser a Syrup. He goes to drink it. It's too viscous and flows slowly while he holds the glass up over his open mouth looking stupid. He shakes the glass. Hits the bottom. Gets hit in the face with a glob of Syrup. Peach in the background chokes on another bottle of syrup.

Help Less/Costume Foolery:
Adventurer Katie sends her Toy Pokemon out into the wild. It finds a Gladiator themed Mii under attack from a swarm of cuddly Scatterbugs. Katie's Pokemon takes them out. The Mii thanks her and pulls out a spear and shield.
Possible extension has the boss Pokemon show up to attack. The Mii reassures Katie that'll he'll support her Pokemon with X Defenses.

Revisiting this one again.
Swindler's List/McGym/Secret Basics:
Young Trainer reaches the guard gate to Victory Road. Holds up his "Badges."
GUARD: "Umm...where did you get these?"
TRAINER: "From those conveniently placed Pokemon Gyms over there."
Trainer waves at other Trainers standing in front of their Secret Bases.
GUARD: "Those aren't...whatever."
Trainer wanders into cave.

Alternate delivery has Trainer Katie "lose" a match in her Secret Base using only a Magikarp.
KATIE: "You have successfully conquered the ummmm... Shrub Gym!"
TRAINER: "Where's my Badge?"
KATIE: "That'll be $10,000. Maintenance fee for the ummm...Gym Membership."
TRAINER: "Oh...makes sense."
Hands over money. Katie looks around. Pulls up a Tile and hands it to Trainer.
KATIE: "You've earned the Tile Badge. Congrats."
