Water allergies aren't the same as others, like eating peanuts or wheat. People with a water allergy suffer an intense itching sensation on their skin without any visible signs, it's basically like having an invisible rash whenever your skin gets wet. It's not dangerous in itself, but the itching would keep you from focusing on doing anything else.

Actually, I have said allergy. Because I'm a freak like that.
It's not handicapping so much, but if you go swimming or something like that a few minutes after you get out of the water your skin starts to itch pretty intensely. I've learned to ignore it.

That comic made me smile.
I remember using toothpaste barring that baking soda an old tshirt and a bowl of warm soapy water to repair old ps1 games.
I think there is a purpose most sinister behind the newely dried clothes of starving college students having the smell of tortilla chips.
