Family ROYunion

Roy, remembering the welcoming that Mewtwo and Lucas had, comes in like he's a superstar.

Roy: Hey everyone! I'm back!
*Everyone is just sitting around watching TV not even looking*
Roy: Um... a party? Shouldn't there be a party?

*Megaman comes in with Ryu*
Megaman: Guys, meet Ryu, an old friend of mine. He's joining us.

*Everyone immediately runs up to Ryu and gushes over him while complimenting him, leaving Roy all alone at the other end of the room*

Now that Roy has been all but officially confirmed for DLC I instantly thought of Awkward Zombie (I've been reading since around 2006, btw) and have spent some of the day trying to come up with a decent comic. Here's what I've got.
Roy is sitting sad and alone outside the smash house when Luigi comes up to the front door carrying a DeDeDe's worth of snacks and trips over Roy.
L: "Oh hey, Rob!"
R: "It's Roy."
L: (cutting him off) "I haven't seen you around in a while, (Roy, ignored while Luigi picks up the snacks: "I've been out here every day since I got fired...") How've you been?"
R: "Misera--"
L: "Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't you come in and join us?"
R: "REALLY?!"
L: "Yeah! Come on in, join the fun!"
R: "Oh my gosh! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Luigi opens the door after handing the snacks to Roy and announces to the room, "Hey guys I'm back and you'll never guess who I brought with me: Ryu!" Ryu enters in front of Roy and everyone cheers while Roy sobs more, completely ignored again.

I love the way you've been pointing out how Nintendo has pretty much forgotten about Roy until now and I half feel like they read your comic too with how they announce his return right next to a much more popular character. Also, I tend to run on sentence a lot.
Anyway, that's my idea, feel free to alter as needed!

Killer Contracts/Contracted Disease:
Ness pays off the Runaway Five's contract with a Wad of Bills. Later pays off another one of their obligations with a Diamond. Ness is later shown defeating some weird creature or completing some odd request. He receives a ruby studded scepter or other rare item like a shrub that grows dollar bills. He's excited to get the item, but then as he's walking away he finds the Runaway Five chained to a circus wagon. Looks down at his new treasure and sighs. Last panel has Ness freeing the Runaway Five for the third time. They give him some Runaway Five merchandise and run off again. Possibly towards a human trafficker or organ thief.

Diamonds Are Forever/Carbon Pal-lotrope:
One of Ness's party members gets diamondized. The crew drags the victim to the store and buy liquid fabric softener.
Possible alternate has Ness and company save the Runaway Five by trading in a diamondized party member.

Cephalo-Peas-in-a-Pod/Color Blind Love:
Two star crossed lovers are on rival Splatoons. They spend the battle flirting and making out instead of fighting. The battle ends. The two are spotted by one of their teammates. One flirt flees. The other can't because he's got lip shaped opposite color ink on his neck and is slowed down.

All but officially?

1- He WAS officially confirmed
2- He's been downloadable since this morning.

Tough Enough/Block Head:
Trainer Katie is standing around eating Pokeblocks. Another Trainer looks concerned.
KATIE: "Yeah, they're for Pokemon, but the blue ones are great for my complexion."
TRAINER: "Those are yellow."
Katie develops scales on her skin.

Panel 1:
Mr. Brotch: Based on your Generalized Occupational Aptitude Test results, your job will be...

Panel 2:
Mr. Brotch: Vault Loyalty Inspector.
Katie: (fist pumping) Yes!

Panel 3:
Katie: (lounging with feet propped up on desk) Easiest job ever. I mean, nobody is ever going to-

Panel 4:
Caption: Three years later...
Amata: Your father has left the Vault!
Katie: OH COME ON!
Overseer: (off-panel) YOU'RE FIRED!

Roy: finally makes it into the house, grinning and gleeful. "I finally made it in!"
Smile falls to confused frown as nobody comes to greet him.
Makes his way to the next room to see everyone just crowded around Ryu who is enjoying the attention.


Cue the single tear.

FE:Fates comic.
Panel 1:
Kamui is standing on a battlefield, where the two kingdoms are facing each other in battle. Kamui's family are trying to convince him to come home with them.

Panel 2: Xander is on one side talking to Kamui. Ryoma is on the other side, staring him down angrily.
Xander: Kamui! It is time to decide. Who will you leave with?

Panel 3: Pan over to Nohr Kingdom characters.
(offscreen) Xander: The family who treated you as one of their own for all these years?

Panel 4: Pan over to the Hoshido Kingdom characters
(offscreen) Xander: Or the birth family who has missed you since the day you went missing?

Panel 5: Kamui is walking over to Hoshido
(speech bubble on the left side of the panel to contrast Kamui walking away) Xander: You must choo- HEY! You didn't even mull it over!
Kamui (holding FE:Fates White version box): Sorry, but I made my choice 6 hours ago when I purchased White Kingdom.

Roy grumbles outside, drawing the attention of [insert smasher here].
Peach refers to Roy's "costume" as "amateurish"
Roy, confused and rustled looks inside to see himself, standing taller and stronger than him.
"Roy" gives a smug look out the window at Roy.
Nana, appearing from "Roy"s belly region, also throws shade.

Marital Sparring
Panel 1: End of a Smash Bros round between (female, red haired) Robin, Ness and Ike. The winner is about to be announced.
"This game's winner is..."

Panel 2: "Robin!" Robin and Chrom pose for their victory animation; they're somehow shown to be married (Robin is wearing a distinctive ring or something).
*Clap* sound effects are surrounding the panel, with two being normal and a third being distinctly less normal.

Panel 3: A yellow haired female Robin is clapping angrily (she is also wearing the same ring). Ness and Ike look at each other awkwardly/uncomfortably.

it's funny because hypothetically it's possible that the robins in a match are either friends with chrom, married to chrom or married to chrom's daughter and these kinds of alternate universe possibilities are really awkward in a game about alternate universes colliding

Mistaken Tridentity:
Three Links work together to battle a group of enemies. Each one wears a different costume. While two of the Links are looking away, the third one, (who is wearing Zelda's Dress) gets snatched by Ganondorf.

M. A. S./Three-Way Battle/Ink Spill

Two rival Inklings, one red and one blue, get their Inkstrikes ready. Both fire at the same time. The missiles meet in the air. A wave of purple washes over the field, splatting both teams. Match ends in a draw.

Green, red, and blue Links stack up into a totem poll and awkwardly meet up with a stack from World of Final Fantasy. They awkwardly stare at each other before simultaneously reacting in horror as a Tetris line starts to fall between them.
