AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Okie-dokie, then -- first idea submission, ho! I'm probably (definitely) overthinking it and going into way too much detail and specifics, buuuut... eckhck.

Espurr-of-the-Moment (Pokemon X/Y)
(Alternate title: Espurrnential Growth)

Trainer (Katie) enters the Pokemon Day-Care Center and drops off two little Espurrs, a male and female (the female is foreign, Japanese, for attempting to breed a shiny using the Masuda method).
[Panel orientation: viewing the door from behind the Daycare Lady's left side]

<insert generic Day-Care Lady dialogue, or just skip it>
Trainer walks directly to and out the door; out of the corner of their eye they see the Day-Care Lady's husband facing away from the fence (meaning he has an egg).
[Panel orientation: side view, behind Trainer's left shoulder looking at the Day-Care Man.]

Day-Care Man: [holding egg] Hey! You'll never believe what we found!
Trainer: [taking the egg with confused look] What? Already?
Trainer looks to the right (body still facing the Day-Care Man) into the fenced area with curious disbelief to see the two Espurrs. They are standing side by side facing directly toward them with their completely expressionless, almost innocent-looking stares.
[Panel A orientation: behind a partial silhouette of an Espurr from behind, with Trainer looking towards it from the other side of the fence in the background; the Day-Care Man is looking into the fenced area as well, like he does when not holding an egg.]
[Panel B orientation: direct front view of the two Espurrs]
Trainer looks forward again toward the Day-Care Man to see he turned around again, facing the road, holding another egg.

Trainer: [wacky shocked yelling facial expression time!] What the--?!
Day-Care Man: [holding egg] Hey! You'll never believe what we found!
Trainer: Let me guess...
Trainer goes back into the Day-Care Center to deposit the eggs.
[Panel: view from behind the Day-Care Man's left side facing the direction of the door to the building; he has returned to face the fenced area at this point.]
Trainer exits through the door once again looking pretty grumpy. The man is facing the road again with yet another egg.
[panel view returns to the same as the first exit]

Trainer: WHAT?!
Trainer approaches the man again and angrily snatches the egg from him, cutting off his repeated line of dialogue mid-way. The Trainer turns to face the Espurrs, pointing a finger threateningly at them.

Trainer: Why?! How are you even doing this?!
[Extreme close-up of the two Espurrs' intensely expressionless gazes.]

Trainer kicks open the door to the Day-Care Center carrying a shiet-ton of eggs (like, a comically large pile of eggs) and deposits them in the PC. [Panel: same as initial one]
For visual joke effect, the Trainer is bodaciously trying to stuff the eggs into the PC. [Panel: a kinda isometric view of the PC]
Trainer turns around leaning back against the PC, panting and tired.

Trainer: [dramatic zoom-in on narrowing eyes panel] This has to stop. Now.
Trainer stomps up to the Day-Care Lady and is about to speak to say they want to take back the Espurrs.

Day-Care Lady: Oh! My husband was looking for you!
Trainer: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF--
[zoom out to isometric bird's-eye view of the Day-Care where it is flooded with Espurrs/Espurr eggs]

Trainer: (cont.) UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

This is based on mostly what happened yesterday to me in Pokemon Y with a mix of other breeding escapades, like with my Zoruas and Zoroarks.
Speaking of, Pokemon breeding is super awkward sometimes. I bred two Zoroarks to make a Zorua. The Zorua had a better nature I wanted to breed with so I gave it an Everstone and swapped out the male Zoroark for it. It wasn't until after a few eggs I froze in my tracks and realized:
"O-Oh. OH. Oh my god... I just shipped this lil' Zorua with... his own mother."
D-... Does this mean I orchestrated... incestuous straight shota....?
.............can't blame him, though. That Zoroark was hot.

Too Close Encounter:
A Boss Galaga tractors in one of the fighters and flies off with him. Fight continues. Tractor beam drops down previously abducted fighter some time later, now pale and shaking, possibly tagged.

Shed a Tear:
A Boss Galaga and a Hook Beetle grab a fighter at the same time with disastrous results. Other fighters look up in horror before getting sprayed with blood.

Debtor Alive:
Villager unleashes his Final Smash against Samus. House gets built around Samus. Samus dodges all the construction unharmed. Walks out the door, gets handed a bill for the house by Nook.

"$1000!?" *smash sound effect*

Demo-lition

Katie and Norrin (or anyone really) are playing the smash demo hard enough to break the circle pads. They continue playing with the nub beneath the pad.

Samus: U-Uhhh... oh! Here. Charge it to this card.
Nook: I need to verify the name on this account. What is it?
Samus: .................Ridley. *heavily shaded evil grin face*

(I don't know how banks and cards and tabs and bills work. What ams are moneys?)

Hello. Long time reader, first time forum contributor. I have an idea for a post-launch Smash Bros comic.


The Smash Bros gang is ready to welcome the new additions to the roster. Looking over a list on a clipboard, they notice that the name "Roy" is on the list.

They rush out, expecting to welcome back Roy from Fire Emblem. Instead, they find Roy Koopa (who is one of Bowser Jr's Alts).

They walk away, disappointed. Roy Koopa just stands there, smiling obliviously.

Roy, from Fire Emblem, sneaks out from behind something in the background and knocks out Roy Koopa, stashing his body behind a smiling Mario-style bush (or something else thematically appropriate).

He then steals Roy Koopa's bright PANK luchadore mask, puts it on, climbs into Roy Koopa's PANK Koopa Clown Car, and drives off in the same direction that everyone else went.

No one notices that it is Fire Emblem Roy and not Roy Koopa.

That's a pretty good idea, but there's one thing...

It's AZ canon that nobody remembers Roy except Marth, and Marth really doesn't want Roy to come back. You could spin it to be Marth rushing outside in disbelief, though.

Don't mean to be nitpicky, just pointing it out.

Flower Power:
Ganondorf grabs a Lip's Stick and tries beating up Olimar with it. Olimar picks up a Pikmin and blocks the attacks. Pikmin winds up with massive flower on its head. The Pikmin reaches over, grabs the Lip's Stick, and breaks it over his knee. Then does the same to Ganondorf.

Can we make the Pikmin super buff too?

But keep him the same height.

Catch the Claptrap:
Wilhelm, Nisha, and Athena find the Weapon Grinder, which grinds up terrible weapons and spits out better ones. They get some new gear from it. Then they look behind them and see Claptrap. Look at the Grinder. Look at Claptrap. Last panel has them carrying familiarly yellow colored weaponry.

Daily Grind/Grind to a Fault:
Vault Hunters get attacked near a Weapon Grinder. Athena grabs the enemy and forces them into the Grinder. It spits out a fleshy Soul Edge style gun made of bad guy parts.

Slim Shade:
Pikachu runs around the stage unleashing Thunder on various opponents. Lightning crashes down on Pit. Lightning crashes down on Mario. Lightning crashes down on Peach, who holds her umbrella over her head and blocks it. Joke might also work it she just happens to be under a small platform.

100 Per Sentimental:
Marth and Link battle together on a team. A slightly wounded Marth grabs a Bottled Fairy and has trouble getting it to work.
MARTH: "How do you even use one of these things?"
Link stabs Marth. Marth falls over dead. Fairy emerges and revives him.
LINK: "Like that."

House Breaking in Size:
One of the smashers unleashes the Nintendog Assist Trophy. Dog obscures camera, appearing gigantic. It leaves and the smashers look over to see a giant present left on the stage.

Role Reversal:
Samus unleashes the Mother Brain Assist Trophy. Stands behind Mother Brain, leaning on the tank, filing her nails while the other fighters deal with it.
MOTHER BRAIN: "Oh, you're loving this..."
SAMUS: "Shhhh...sit there and do my bidding."

Spider Dance (League Of Legends)
*While in lane, waiting for minions to spawn*
Soraka: Urgot, where did you come up with your dance? It's quite graceful, considering...
Urgot: Hmm...
*Closeup of Shaco's face*
Flashback Shaco: "Look at me! I'm Rumble!"
*Pan view of Shaco riding Urgot's back, his daggers buried in the flesh between Urgot's shoulders and neck. Shaco is laughing maniacally while Urgot skitters around*
Flashback Urgot: "GETIT OFF! GETIT OFF! GETIT OFF!"
*Back to present day*
Urgot: "I do not wish to discuss it."

It's a WHAT?! (Bleach)
*Ichigo gets his Fullbring to manifest completely*
Ginjo: Hey, an Espada!
Ichigo: What?! Where?!
*A 'Hu is on first base' bit ensues until Ichigo takes a closer look at his single-edge short sword*
Ichigo: I can't believe nobody ever pointed this out in the series...

Not So Sudden Death:
Link, Bowser, Pikachu and Marth battle it out. Link crosses swords with Marth while Bowser uses the chaos to grab a Hook Beetle. He throws it at Pikachu only for it to get knocked back at him. Marth and Link keep fighting while Bowser struggles to get loose from the Beetle which has grabbed him by the neck. I imagine it tries to lift him, but fails due to his weight. In the background we see him turn blue while Pikachu tries to help. Possible alternates simply has the Beetle grab on, but not lift him while Pikachu tries to pull it off. All the while the swordsmen fail to notice.

Later, since Roy is a ladies' man(seriously, look at all the women he can marry in FE6) he hits it off with Lucina, driving Marth more insane than usual. Everyone else thinks he has something against the Koopas.
