CAUSE OF DEATH, Rocket to the face
Then I sent a team lead by super Special DLC man Zaeed! Then I decided to have Miranda protect me, Tali and Grunt....Poor Grunt
CAUSE OF DEATH, picked off by the Seekers
Then Zaeed's team comes back and well.....Zaeed....
CAUSE OF DEATH, Got lit up like the fourth of July
Then I'm watching a Cutscene during the final boss battle of the other team fighting off all the collectors and I see Mordin go down
CAUSE OF DEATH......Got shot I guess?
So the game is over and it turns out during that shootout Mordin actually survived! WTF....But then poor Garrus, Tali, and Samara
CAUSE OF DEATH, Got shot up I guess.
So my Squad is only, Miranda (who I'm indifferent to because I already did her before the suicide mission), Mordin (who's okay), Thane, And Jack.......Yeah I have to restart this before playing ME3. Anyone know the perfect way to keep all your teammates alive so I can get that daisies achievement at least?

Make sure all of your characters are loyal. If they aren't then they will almost certainly die. Unfortunately if you go back to do loyalty mission after the crew gets kidnapped then the crew ends up dieing. Send Legion or Tali into the vents. Have a strong leader lead the second group like Garrus or Miranda. Use Samara or Jack as your Biotic leader. When your party makes its final stand people will die in a certain order. Non loyal members followed by Mordin, Kasumi, and I think Tali and then up. I think Grunt is the last to die if it goes bad. So send Mordin back to protect the remaining crew on their way back to the ship. As long as he is loyal then he and the group will live. Have Kasumi and Tali come with you to the last battle. They aren't the greatest for this, but they are the weak links. And it will increase the odds of the last stand group living.

saved everyone, like a boss, all day, every day YEAH. I also loved miranda but Tali was my fav, also playing female shepherd is superior.

I remember the first time I played the final mission, got to the part where the door was being shut and suddenly Tali takes a fucking bullet.

Brief moment of confusion and wild blustering of curse words and then nope she's okay the shield caught the shot.

then in the next playthrough garrus got the bullet repeat reactions no wait he's okay also

NOBODY ELSE

ONLY THE PEOPLE I LIKE GIVE ME DEATH SCARES

My first playthrough I managed to save everyone except Tali due to a fucking GLITCH.

if you wear the death head helmet that makes you 10% better at renegade and paragon things, so it puts those bars up by 10%

if those bars hit 100%, they don't increase

if you take the helmet off, for example, while inside your ship, that 10% bonus is taken away

YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES >:I

so I lost her because I agreed with legion when they argued

then I tried again Paragon with the sole purpose of saving EVERYONE... and I fucked up the order of how to do that.

Badly.

So I tried to make sure that at the very least Tali would survive. And I did pretty we- oh nope wait she died and the rest of the crew did too because of it.

son of a fuck

I bought/played/beat/traded Mass Effect a few years ago. A few months ago I picked up Mass Effect 2 for like $15. It sat in my games pile unplayed for like a month before I just traded it back in.

Maybe I should have played it.

I really have been wanting to play the Mass Effect games for like the past 2 weeks, but my bro's computer is the only one strong enough in the house to play it, and he won't let me on his computer... :(

The main reason I play on consoles.

Still sucks, though.

If nobody survives the final mission, Shepard dies canon.

From what you said, it sounds more like Fire-Emblem-character-death sad: heartbreaking, but not permanently scarring.

why is it that when people talk about Earthbound it's always the third one and not the SNES one?

Because although both are good, Mother 3 was superior.

This comic is aces.

I mean, I just picked the game up for PS3 (yay! discount bin! also surprised that the DLC code was still good despite the fact that it was supposed to expire in mid jan) and am having a blast, it's pretty cool space opera action.

But yeah, out of all the characters, the one I dislike the most is Miranda, though most probably not for the reasons most people hate her.

I mean, I'm ok with her sex appeal, completely unnecessary booty shots (daisies, they're more shame-inducing that Bayonetta's!) or her "I'm purrfect, misunderstood and fragile on the inside" storyline.

I hate her because the game SHOVES her in your face and forces you to like her, using every freaking dirty trick in the book!

1. Available from the get-go? Check.

2. Some "already there" tension with main character? Check.

3. You owe her your life? Check.

4. Always useful and a good idea to have around? Check.

5. Hottest girl in town and flirty even when not flirting? Check.

6. Sad story about how she's actually fragile, looking for acceptance and other stuff to make you think she's a kitten that needs to be hugged? Check.

The devs made such an effort for her to be likeable that she ended up artificial and in effect pretty much Mass Effect's Jar Jar Binks.

Hell, I feel more compassion for Joker, Kelly, freaking Grunt or even the engineer guy from whom I ripped some credits at a poker game than her.

Case in point, I never used her except when I had to, even if I were against biotics and in quite bad shape for being an Engineer. Couldn't care less if she ever died on me. And actually felt quite bad for turning Jack down for Tali (what can I do? faceless masks/helms are hot in my book).
