I agree with everything DND criticized about the comic. At first, I wasn't really sure what was being destroyed but I went back and saw the buildings in the first panel. If I squinted.

But other than that, the joke was funny and as usual, the art was awesome. :]

I wonder if Katie is upset by the edits.

I asked her a while back because I was also concerned about this.

I get the impression she enjoys them as much as we do, and appreciates that people put in a lot of time and effort into making some of them.

This quote just about sums up her response to me:

Yeah, the font concerned me too, but now that I look at it, it's smaller than mine and it's darker... so I think it's arial black bolded... size 7 (I use 9 in Paint.NET).

It's a Macintosh-only font.. I forget the name but remember it starting with an H.

According to Varn it's Helvetica, which isn't Mac-only.
This might be outdated, though.
Edit: Doesn't seem to match, so don't bother.

I think it's a 'Helvetica Condensed Bold' font.

I could never match it perfectly but I got close by using a 90% horizontal squash.

Nice, but maybe it would've been better without the picture of hyperbam hitting the buildings.

Meh you're talking to a first-timer so not gonna be perfect. Was wondering that when I looked at it but figured I'd show the beam actually hitting something that remotely resembled the ship.
