Plenty. Name a genre.

Any. As long as it hasn't already been fully discussed numerous times in every worst comic thread there is.

I googled that.

If god exists, he will send another flood for the sole purpose of wiping them out.

Any bad webcomic worth discussing (and hence deserving of the previously mentioned bitchfest) has already been discussed somewhere. There are still some that haven't been discussed in this thread, which are the best I have to offer.

I mentioned this one earlier in this thread, but nobody said anything about it. Perhaps it's merely not bad enough to laugh at.

Actually, if you go back in this thread you'll find the efforts of nchammer and the article that he helped create. There are plenty more to choose from, but it's a great start.

http://www.cracked.com/article_17607_5-circles-baffling-web-comic-hell.html

The first example on the fourth page is far worse than the article would have you believe. If you're going to look into all of them, I strongly recommend you avoid it.

You can like something, but still realise it's bad.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is the best example of that.

Why would you like that comic? It's awful.

It started out sorta cutesy and then it just... it just was awful.

I find myself enthralled by the characters, the story line arcs are a lot more epic than most people give it credit for, the author's actually clean. And I don't look much into artistic ability when it comes to an in depth story line. What jokes are in there I laugh at because I like puns and alliteration.

The art doesn't bug me so much, it's the content. He has this thing about female characters almost getting raped, for one, and his character just grows more and more powerful without any sort of um, whatchamacallits, defects?

And then every single serious scene is ruined with a pun. Puns are fine, whatever. But for every daisies time something serious happens?

A) The only one to get raped was actually an attempt to save the life of said girl. It's complicated.
Clan tribes were meant so that the write for marriage was intercourse, something usually meant for consenting adults. The girl's parents had just been killed and she was about to be executed because her tribe does not tolerate orphans. Thus, the neighboring tribe leader's son did the only thing he could do to save her life by taking her as his own right there on the spot. It's easy to see that she wasn't exactly willing.
B) The characters do lose abilities.
The main character loses a leg, his brother has his powers ripped from him, seems permanent. The only female protagonist to not really do anything has finally gotten recognition. And one of the warriors making progress in his life is brutally murdered and sentenced to Hell for transgressions in his past.
C) The entire family/cast is dysfunctional, as such they, and influentially their friends/side characters, wind up making light of situations or be driven into some kind of depression. It explains why doctors come up with so many death jokes and the like.

I USED to read Deegan. I gave up when I realized that the author was using the comic as a soapbox for his political views (token gay character, anyone?) and that Dominic was totally his self-insert. Actually, I stuck around a little longer, but that was one of the final straws. Between that, the rape storyline, and Dominic going all Gary Stu on everyones' asses, I realized that this was a horrible, horrible comic. The only reason I stuck around that long is because it was the second webcomic I ever read.

I still miss the first one though. THAT was a good comic.

Bob and George we hardly knew ye.

EDIT: Also, losing a leg is not a character flaw. Dominic is a Gary Stu.

What kind of author doesn't put their own ethics code/moral views into story-line based comics? :? If one viewed from an entirely objective standpoint, you'd have neutral characters, no plot or theme, and an overall just bland story that'd make Stephanie Meyers' heart flutter with ecstasy.

Though losing a leg is not a character flaw, it brings them out, and it humanizes the character all that much more. In his past Dominic was said to be a great dancer, once, his pride got the better of him and he attempted to actually dance with his prosthetic, which did not go over well. Foolish Pride =/= Gary Sue, as they are perfect-normal in every way shape or form.

EDIT: And I agree completely, Torizo, but it's not to say that the author has a rape fetish.
