Good, we're all honest here. I'd like to say that the joke was lost on me the first time reading through. And after I did get it, it wasn't a winner, aside from being Golden Sun comic with tons of Djinni.

To be honest though I'll admit that the delivery was slightly terribad, and by terribad I mean "could've been better."
Not "The Last Airbender" terribad, more "Ghostrider 2: Spirit of Vengeance" terribad.

I'd be willing to forgive and forget if Katie redoes the comic with more Nicolas Cage.

EDIT: I think it's because Issac's talking. We've already got Link as the "character who talks in the comic, but not in his medium" character. Having two of them would just be silly.

Every time I hear about the elements, I always think of disco. I've listened to too much and it's always interfered with my enjoyment of anything related to elements.

As for the joke, I chuckled.

I love that game! Unfortunately I took a break after beating what I thought was the end boss and just never came back to finish it. Pretty sure I don't have the memory card any more. :-/

I think the comic was supposed to be making more of a "ba-dum-tsh" or a "wah-wah-waahhhhh" kind of punchline and not one to be analysed, which would explain why a lot of people seemed to not like it with their fancy "sense" and "reasons".

Anyway yes I liked comic it made me activate my face muscles lots.

As far as I know, people can and will say their reasons for not liking something and make senseful criticism to help out.
Tatzel said what she didn't like about the comic and she was right to do so. Going "lol this is silly just shut up and laugh xD" isn't fair, nor is it helping.

Technically it's his son Matthew (Dark Dawn design) but yeah he inherited the mute from dad and dad overcame it becoming a boring NPC who doesn't shut up about how proud of you he is. Garet's son Tyrell is also a xerox generation. Felix had a girl so she looks like a green haired
