This comic is so odd, like Zink said I was reading it because it's just so fucking dumb, but then shit just went bananas at chapter 8. It's still pretty dumb but it got an eerie serious note from then on; which actually ruins the fun a little bit for me. I just want to laugh at really bad stuff like it was in the beginning.

Why is it somewhat enthralling?

It's not good writing nor is it in any way well done.
But It's like a summer blockbuster movie that entertains you with fast-paced action and even though the plot and writing is terrible, you don't really care because you know it's bad, you're just looking for a good time.

It's like The Room. So bad, it's good.

I will admit though, Silver is pretty awesome just because compared to every one else in the series, he's more of the "straight-man" and one of the more likeable characters.
