The more important question has always been why can't he just recapture the bloody fairy while it's flying around him? That always bothered me more than Navi.

I mean.

She's a different color. That counts!

I always thought it was gems and necklaces, not skin colour that made them glow that particular colour.

I think the main difference between the two fairies is that one is wild while the other is not.
Wild fairies are healing fearies.
Kokiri faries share their soul with their child. They also act like a secondary parent figure (Deku Tree is the first) and tell them about the world around them. They also act as guardians making sure that the child isn't hurt by observing the world and changing color in order to warn the child. The color change may also be due to emotion.

I don't know, I guess this is just what I think from what little information we have on fairies. But I do think healing faries are just wild since you can find them almost anywhere just wandering around.

I wonder who curses cursed faries... Maybe it's just the air in the dark world.

I have ALWAYS WONDERED THIS.
And the sad thing is, is I started thinking about it after reading the comic. Because the healing fairy is PANK, and Navi is blue... is it a coloration thing? Are the healing fairies PANK with... human-I mean Hylian blood? But how would that affect their ability to heal stuff? D= I DO NOT KNOW. Bah bah bah. I like that theory, though.
Of course, I hate Navi and would LOVE LOVE LOVE if she were one-use-only as a healing fairy.

eh, dont like navi, like everyone else. always preferred tatl. maybe because I just liked majora's mask better.

I always liked Navi. I guess her voice is annoying to some people, but it doesn't bother me much. In fact, I think it's... um... CUTE! There, I said it! CUTE!
