Ahhahaa oh gawd I remember seeing that webcomic before.

They all look exactly the same and from what I've seen, they barely have any different facial expressions.

Copy Pasta in any comic totally = success.

The anatomy at least isn't too terrible though but definitely has flaws.

Triquetra Cats starts with a permanent gender transformation arc and the art is even worse. Comparing the art quality of the most recent examples of both, it seems that Triquetra Cats now has shading and The Dragon Doctors has color and proper outlines, but those are about the only changes.

I think that The Dragon Doctors wins for the plot, though. They wasted 10 pages on the characters going shopping to buy new gender-appropriate clothes. I didn't continue beyond those pages, the act of counting being my only motivation, but the most recent page looks like they're still transforming into things and braiding each others hair.

The main character in LiCD is a Black Hole Sue. The universe collapses around the weight of his improbable and inevitable success, and reality warps to accommodate his beliefs without exception. He never loses and he's always right. All this, ON TOP OF the fact that he's a disgusting, sexist, womanising, elitist, arrogant, ignorant douchebag. GAWD.


Reading Boston and Shaun is a cathartic experience for me. In grade school all the comics I made were exactly that bad for all the same reasons.It's like peering into my own soul, in the past.

Although, my characters were Looney Tunes knockoffs instead of bizarre kangaroo/dragons.
