Wasn't really stated where the water went or where it came from, but after the Mercury Lighthouse was lit, the water came faster and eroded the edges faster, which is why it was much more dire to light the Mars Lighthouse at the end of the game, before it fell off the edge of Weyard.

I guess I'm one of the few people who enjoyed Dark Dawn as much as the GBA titles, then. Although yeah, I'll admit the difficulty is non existant. Still preferable to goddamn Deadbeard, though

My main complaint with DD, though, is the fact that, in the GBA games, most of the characters had, y'know, actual names (Jenna, Mia, Ivan, Piers). Then DD just goes and gives you people named Eoleo and Himi and I dunno, it just doesn't feel right for some reason. That's probably just me, though.

Eoleo was his name in the previous games. Remember the baby?

Yeah, he was the baby son of the pirate king in the GBA games. Himi is probably supposed to sound Japanese since she lives in the GS equivalent of Japan, and Sveta lives where Russia would be.

Amiti, however, is kind of a dumb name.

and considering amiti is from what looks to be an expy of a hindi-speaking country, it makes sense

That might explain why I thought Amiti was a girl at first.

Besides the typical "he looks pretty feminine"

Yeah, I really liked Dark Dawn too, but not as much as the first one (which I stopped playing right at the final boss because I played a rental)
