I've gone through the same thing, with another puzzle. I figured out that the dice add up to 3,6,9,12,18. The game tells me the pips on top of the dice are 1,2,3,4,5,6. Close enough.

The answer isn't right. Yes it's 4x the original... but the question was "How much Larger" not "how many times the size of the original." Since the original would be 1x, and the final is 4x, it's 3x larger. The answer is it's three times larger. and four times the size.

I was so confused until I realized you used the triangle to represent the area of the square, not of the triangle.

Staring at Area1 = 1in^2 for like 2 minutes going "wait isn't it 1/2?"

No, it isn't 3 times larger. It's 4 times larger. Because the bigger one is as big as 4 of the smaller one.

That would be 4 times AS LARGE. Which is equivalent to 3 TIMES LARGER.
