I think it's completely fair to take a moment to point out that someone made this joke with the exact same delivery a long while ago. It's true. Norrin stole a joke and it seems fair to want to point that out.



Not just the joke, the delivery too. The last panel is three words short of being a complete lift of the original comic. There's no way it was a coincidence.

Strong words for someone with no proof. If one person had the idea then surely a similar one could come to another person. There's no evidence that Katie "stole" anything. Coincidences happen more than you'd think.

Why do you assume that Katie and Norrin know of every single joke ever made about every single game ever released?

Let me put it this way. A child solves a math problem in class in January. Another child solves the same math problem in February. They both use the same method and working. By your reasoning the second child must have copied the first child. Sure it's a very basic example, but it's the same idea, and in this context a pretty ridiculous assumption to make.

He may well have come up with this independently. Why do you think he plagiarised the other writer?

Not saying that. Saying that the joke and the delivery is exactly the same as the other comic. There's no way it's a coincidence. If you think otherwise you are lying to yourself. Someone saw that comic and decided to copy it. Was it Kate or Norrin? No idea. But someone did.

You continue to spout your opinion as though it were fact. Let's take a walk through it shall we?

The Sniper in TF2 is generally regarded to use piss as a weapon. The Spy is his natural enemy. Tell me, is it not possible that you could suddenly think of what might happen if there was something wrong with the piss. Blood in the urine is one of the more common signs with bad ailments, that's hardly an original idea.

So, we have the Spy getting Jarate'd, as usual in a TF2 game, except someone then applied that "blood in the urine" idea to suggest Sniper has prostate cancer or something equally horrifying. Or maybe he just peed too much.

As for the Spy's gesture of consolation, what is the common gesture for two men who know each other and one wishes to offer some comfort. A hug is out, and a handshake inconceivable. You guessed it, a hand on the shoulder.

There, I just broke down the entire joke. Can you see now how coincidences can occur through a common thought?
