Found in a book called "Thinking with Portals - A Memorandum on Proper Portal Usage" in Dalaran.

Ahaha! I had this exact idea for a WoW comic to submit to the WoW comic contest a year ago, only my version had a facepalming NPC and yelling NPC.

...Only I have little drawing skill and even less patience so I never got past 1/2 a panel :(
