I don't see anyone complaining. I just see people saying they don't quite get it.

I think it is possible to get if you think logically, the guy used a "spell" to transform himself into a demon, then the other team used other "spell" that makes demon work for her, and it attacked the team mates.

But thinking logically in a comic isn't funny.

The french in the description is killing me.

OHHHHH! NOW I GET IT! LOL! I thought they were all affected by the spell, but now that i know he turns against them the faces at the end are just so funny!

A little late, maybe, but what the heck is that red nelfy-rogue-hunchy thing? Can nelfs even be red?? Pinkish-blue, I think, but red? I'm so confused.

KATIE. NELFS ARE BLUE. BELFS ARE... HUMAN COLOURED. I GUESS. LE DISTINCTION.

At first I though the joke was supposed to be about the 'chain demon' spell not having any affect, which didn't make any sense as a joke, but I thought it was a WoW in-game thing I didn't understand.

When I looked at the comic again a few minutes later because this was bothering me (usually Katie makes her comics understandable to all at some basic level), I figured out the demon guy was being turned against his allies.

Because the delivery is a little confused and considerations like team colours to help reader understanding haven't been used, the comic is open to some weird punchline interpretations if you don't know WoW.


However, I'm forgiving Katie for the run of not-so-hot comics recently because I believe she's still doing her intern thing - which is obviously affecting her comic work.

Rather than forcing herself to create a bad comic every week, maybe Katie would be better off trying to make a good comic every fortnight (two weeks).

Oh yeah I forgot she's like just getting out of high school isn't she? Ouch! Not a great time to be trying to think up funny ideas. I would definitely be cool with comics twice a month, or less even if she's doin a bunch of crap. Like college. Oooooogh college. x_x

Pretty meh actually.

Seems like it should be a smaller joke in a much larger comic, but that's just me.

I personally have noticed a recent downward trend in the quality of Katie's work - subject matter aside.
