I don't know if anyone else thought this, but after I finished Pikmin and watching the ending I saw the pikmin go and attack the walking strawberry and was left with a feeling of unease.
What had I done in my days on the planet is teach the Pikmin how to work together, how to organise. In their massive numbers the Pikmin could easily devour and destory any other creater that may endager him.
With the weakest creatures on the planet now becoming the strongest it was only a matter of time before the Pikmin began to seek retribution for the losses of their family in the past purging all life on the planet.
With their food sources eventually gone from the planet the Pikmin will be forced to leave the planet in their flying onions and seek new home they can use to sustain themselves, one by one the Pikmin will devour the planets dry untill they arrive at my home.
I taught them how to organise and now they have risen up against their master, i swear that they can try to take my planet... but its not going to be with out a fight.
At cinemas everywhere this summer: Pikmin 3: Olimar strikes back.
Sorry went a bit overboard there, but i did feel the ending was somewhat sinister.
Dammit... without playing the game that makes sense. And possible sets it up to be an even bigger allegory than it currently is thought to be, showing how organisation of the lowest sector sets up massive destabilisation of the system. D:
Edit: I will let you get away with me saying "daisies".
