I can't let this pass as a fan of Fire Emblem since the first time I played the series :C



Actually "Robin" in Awakening is a Character you get the choice to customize and you probably already know about it, while in one of the DLC where you get the Einherjar of Lyndys(AKA:Lyn, or the "This one" with green hair), well once you receive the Einherjar, there's the dialogue where Lyn is talking with Robin.

Which comes after Lyn declaring that Robin got the same Characteristic (of being unconscious in a plain) as the Character you decide to make in Fire Emblem VII (yes Eliwood's Story come after Roy's one), and also that the tactician looks like Robin, while knowing that you're from another world, but makes the link between these, since Robin is Amnesic.Meaning that if Robin is the player which could also possibly had played FE VII, and so on that Robin is exactly the same tactician as the one Eliwood, Hector & co knows of.

Here's something for you.

if the player is robin then robin could easily have started with FE7 as many did, and therefore when they saw a red haired lord wearing blue they thought it was eliwood. or robin is just a generic 'canon' avatar that games with avatars always seem to have (see; persona 3 and 4)

i don't really get why we're debating about how dlc affects the punchline of this comic but ok

I'm quite proud that I predicted how the comic would go, minus the whole bit with Robin.

I can see why he'd be a bit upset.

Poor Roy. If only he had all his friends from FE6 like Lilina and Lance. Hey I know what'll cheer you up! Wyvern reinforcements!
