I haven't edited AZ yet(per se), but when I edit comics I give up on truly matching the fonts, and just replace all the text. It's some retyping, but the result flows better, and the image editing takes longer anyway.

However… She may well be using a "wet" res, in which case trying to match fonts at the dry res isn't going to work(because of hinting and such, Francis is especially bad that way). Maybe try 120pt, and downsample it to 10% before comparing?

Be careful when you download it though, for some reason every single instance of a certain kind of font will be replaced with it and I still don't know how to get rid of it

Why does the Helvetica Neue Bold Condensed font mess with the lettertypes from some of the sites I visit? And is there a way to change them back without deleting the font?

A lot of sites are designed to use Helvetica font. If your computer doesn't actually have it, the site will sometimes have a list of backup fonts. If your computer doesn't have those either, it'll generally use whatever your operating system's default sans-serif font is, though this behavior varies in different browsers.

However, your browser might think that Helvetica Neue is close enough to Helvetica to use it. Especially if the site doesn't have any backup fonts set.

If you install the regular Helvetica font, the sites that are messing up right now should use that instead, which will make them look the way they're designed to look. Though, this will not be the way they looked before - they were probably using Arial as a backup font, since you didn't have Helvetica.

That's because most website designers choose fonts without thinking twice so they end up using uncommon fonts that aren't installed on people's systems by default but also forget to embed them into their page (so visitors would automatically download the correct font to use).
