If she can choose her appearance, this seems kinda dickish to do, especially if she knows she's making everyone else uncomfortable.

Then again, it's her choice to do this so IDK.

I don't think it's her choice. Tiki was young in the original FE games and look at her in Awakening. It's more likely her age span is just a lot longer than humans.
