Easy. The universe doesn't encompass everything.

Well, space is, in itself, nothing. No gravity, no matter, nothing. I think our "universe" is pretty much just all the galaxies and all that junk.
Why am I not contributing to the topic :psyduck:

WRONG.

The universe is infinite. It is our finite cluster of galaxies that is expanding, not the universe.

There is actually no proof to that theory, it's just assumed due to the inability to measure the size of the universe, it is infinite. But then again, there's no proof that it's finite, either. It really depends on what theory you follow. There are quite a few.

The law is very clear - infinite untill proven finite. Do not argue with science law, or you will go to science jail, and tachyons and quantum particles will make you their bitch.

The major difference between the two is the nature of the changes within them. While major scientific changes occur through discovery and better understanding, changes in law come through emotional discovery and different understanding, making the only major change that law is within mans control, but still controls us all.

But the idea that something is infinite until proven finite is ridiculous. I mean, we found how to calculate the distance between energy levels and the amount of energy required to move between them in a hydrogen atom. Do we assume the distance is infinite for all other atoms? Fuck no. If everyone kept making up "laws" like that, we'd be back in the Stone Age. Just because the universe is always expanding does not mean it's infinite. Like I said, it's not finite either.
