AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I'm not really that big a fan of http://www.Dominic-Deegan.com. The characters just kind of rub me the wrong way. It seems like, in general, he's got two kinds of characters; noble, misunderstood heroes who never ever go against their morals, or horrible racists/demons/demon racists.

I hate when sites like this pass of for web-comics!

Aah Dominic Deegan, a truly awful webcomic. Does anyone actually like it? And what's with all the female characters nearly getting raped?

I don't know, but I've never been so terrified of the curse of being old.

That just made me think, it would actually be pretty hillarious if Katie used "fap" as one of her onomatopoeias.

I normally don't try to be biased on what I think on webcomics even if the reviewer, who I discover a certain one through, makes me laugh.

This is how I discovered Dominic Deegan.

Someone's got some serious anger issues.

He's stated he doesn't. Apparently, swearing a lot and having a wide vocabulary of colorful insults doesn't mean you have anger issues.

If he'd deeply offended by the existence of a bad webcomic, there's gotta be some sort of issue there...

I think it's the usage of the art of exaggeration.

Well, anger issues is an exaggeration, but he's also so angry in his reviews. He's like, eternally pissy.

I think he's just doing it to entertain people.

It's incredibly easy to act like a perpetually angry dude to make your blog more interesting.

Yeah, like the Angry Video Game Nerd or Zero Punctuation.

I suppose I never thought of that way. I certainly hope he's not normally that angry; his blood pressure would be through the roof.

So I guess I'm the only one that rather likes Dominic Deegan?

Yeah, that's my biggest irk too. While I certainly don't think that they're so cookie-cut as you say, they are pretty one-sided and easy to identify, with the only two characters I can think of that were ambiguous at first was the minor girl from after(?) the Light vs Dark arc, and Quilt.


I can think of... one that did? The orc girl. And that was fairly well done.

I mean story wise. Not... that meaning.



Edit: and yes, the guys who do those websites that purposefully bash just about everything do try and portray themselves as angry as possible.
