Either British accents are crazier than I thought (and I spend my time watching British TV shows), or you're bad at reading.

Both COLORS and COLOURS are correct. Colors is the American English way of spelling it.

But if you get KORLAWS out of COLORS, then you are imagining an R, and an A. Cull-ors, cull-ahs, or something like that are the only ways I have heard it pronounced. :/

So, going with this, that would mean, to you, 'armor' with no 'u' is pronounced like something silly, like OR-MAWR or something.

what is that U even there for?
