What if you had a shiny pokemon? Does the pokemon center have boxes filled with every shiny variation of every pokemon ever in the back room?

And each stored in every type of pokeball ever?

... cause that would a lot of boxes.

The pokemon center just paints the regular pokemon and coveres them with glitter.

What about legendaries? Those things have no gender, and therefore cannot multiply (in before Ditto, see "legendary".) Cloning program, maybe?

Maybe the day care people and the professors were bribed to keep the legendaries from breeding and make the pokedex say that the legendaries are genderless (respectively)?
