I thought he caused a solar flare or something first. I think it's because it's not immediately clear he disappeared, perhaps a sound effect would help and the impact on the sun was too large. Yes I know, realism in comics, but it still threw me off.

The first day of a new comic is always weird, sometimes they don't show up for some people. It's never the same people, either.

But

you can't play a song you don't know.

That's like the only consistent rule in the Zelda games with instruments.

Now we know why. Too many Heroes of Time have been lost to randomly warping into the middle of the ocean, a volcano or the void of space.

This came to me in a dream last night...

Essentially the song is a combination of the Sun Song and one of the warp songs. One of my alternate punchlines was combining the Song of Storms with the Sun Song to create a rain of fire.

Adorable improvising Link needs to be on some sort of merchandise.
