Y'know, if drawing glasses is that terrible you can skimp on them. It's common enough to only draw the bottom part of their frame, or when a character is seen from the side, to have an empty GAP in the front part of the temple arms for their eyes.

Yes, that is what wikipedia told me they are called, temple arms.

since i would guess katie's style is largely rooted in hanna barbara age cartoons, drawing the glasses with changing shapes (like dexter) to show expression would be a feasible style, but only if the glasses had been round frames (which apparently they arent). at any rate, since this is clearly a comic asking for critique on drawing glasses, it is my silly artistic opinion to use the last panel's style. that way they appear more like an accessory than the shape of the face

1997...that'd be, what, age 6? i kept thinking i liked sports until i was about 10 then realized i was horrible at them and, during a string of unwarranted detentions, found myself preferring to daydream. luckily our school district only mandated two years of physical education in middle school in high school, i cheated through the latter since Junior ROTC gave the same credits.
