Oh my

This is so true.

But flying around the desolate sky can actually be pretty fun sometimes. (Yes I did just say that. I like flying.)

To be fair, it would have been quite redundant to develop Skyloft as it would have been in real life. It was designed to be the hub of the game, and therefore easy to maneuver around. Nevertheless, I still loved the comic. :D

If someone can remove the speech bubbles (better than Robot, sorry!) I can vectorize the image into any size you guys want.

And the fans rejoiced! A Skyward Sword comic!
Also, for people who own the game, When you first get to the surface, go to the bottom of the spiral hole thing, and you "release the evil aura" I thought I was going to fight the Imprisoned, but no. Just some air.
WTF.

Don't worry. You'll get sick of fighting the fucker soon enough.

I was going to give Katie something for Christmas, but then I realized that was insensitive so I just threw the puppy in the disposal.

This is why you only buy presents AFTER you're sure you're going to deliver them.

And yoinked a new avvy.

Pipit was one of my favorite characters in the game, probably greatly helped by the fact that he wore yellow, which is the best color in existence (anyone that denies such a claim is clearly insane).

And I thought about this in the game. I guess the only excuse they have is that the birds offer a way for people to get out of the fairly crowded Skyloft (or go enjoy some "pumpkin soup").

What does this mean for the knights that protect the skies though? The worst things in the sky are Octoroks (fairly easy to avoid, but I guess they could be a "threat"), Remlits (just wack them at night), Keese (swords), and Chuchus (swords again). Nothing you need a constant sky patrol day and night for.

Plus, the one person that could use help from a knight, Orielle, ends up getting found and helped by Link.

So do the knights just exist to keep people from walking off the edge and falling into the clouds, when they have their own birds to call, and were dumb enough to fall off to begin with? Or does it justify there being 25 years worth of knights?

I think my head hurts slightly more than before now.
