Twins snakes was kind of a joke. Comparing that remake to the ps1 original is a lot like comparing terminator 3 to terminator 2.
I have no clue why kojima went insane and turned it into such a clown fiesta when the original was already a masterpiece. My best guess is he came down with a case of "George Lucas Disease."
