How about instead of doing low-hanging comic edits, we actually put effort into them? Maybe making better jokes?

Ocelot last saw Big Boss in 1964, Phantom Pain takes place in 1984, you've got all those years what with Portable Ops and Peace Walker and Ground Zeros

Phantom Pain takes place 9 years after Ground Zeros, but Ocelot had nothing to do with that.

I guess the question would come into whether or not Portable Ops is canon, or how much of it is anyway. It's never been made super clear. If that was the case then it would be closer to 14 years.
