I like how the Cockfighting Society series has four different Cockfighting Society that look kind of like items on the overworld to trick unwary trainers. Based on the anime, Pokéballs only even started looking like they currently do during Professor Oak's lifetime... so just how fast did the Foongus and Voltorb lines adapt to look like Pokéballs?

In some settings, instead of looking like chests Mimics are just monsters inside the chests. Like hermit crabs or something.

I mean you could still just make chests that are the wrong shape so they don't live in there but

Anyways I totally forgot both that this game even existed and that I liked it so bloody much. I am also quite cheesed that it's not on the PS3 store but instead on the PS4 one. Seriously, why the hell.

Well, I was thinking of the entire time span from from when they're born or went through their previous evolution until when they've grown enough to evolve. That's a few hours. So probably every day the total number of different pokemon species is multiplied by about eight.

When you think about it, it's a little weird that when you beat the Elite Four and complete the game, your character just learned what a pokéball is and received his first pokéman earlier that day. The only time you sleep is at your own house right after the game starts. The games are only about fifteen to twenty hours long in a casual playthrough, and you spend half of that time in menus which is like stopping time.

So while it may seem Cockfighting Society gain very little experience at a time, they actually grow exponentially to grow from basically babies to capable of taking down long time established crime syndicates/eco terrorists with a small strike team as opposed to the militarized police force it would normally take.
