I'll admit I wasn't really paying attention when EOU2 came out, but I can't find anything to indicate it was ever priced more than its current price of $50.
In Canada it costs around 60 dollars. Which is strange. But then again maybe they lowered the price since?

Don't get the remake of 2. Enemies have HP pools so massive that every fight later on in the game ends up being more of a slog than a battle. Bosses are less of a challenge and more of a "can I kill this thing before all my resources are gone and it chips me to death?" thing. It completely lacks what made the previous games fun
and difficult, instead throwing both of them away for padding gameplay out with bulky and weak (at least in comparison to previous entries) enemies.
I don't plan on it, but I have seen the original DS copy in a used game store. (Where I bought a used Gamecube and controller for 40 dollars) I'll see if it's still there sometime

and if not, there's Amazon. But "another" reason I didn't buy it, is because I haven't even beaten the other two games yet ^^; so really I should get on that.
