Don't be silly, Moog. How can a single Master Ball possibly supply the ranks of tryhard trainers Hell-bent on capturing each and every Legendary with a standard Pokeball? (And don't try to tell me these people don't exist, because not only do they absolutely exist, they also have YouTube channels.)

I never use the Master Ball. I always go Ultra or Dusk Ball. "I'll save it for the BIG challenge" I say to myself, then when the BIG CHALLENGE arrives I'm like "ehhhhh, it'd remove the CHALLENGE and make it not as fun".

The only time I'll ever use a Master Ball is on roaming Pokemon, just because they are so annoying to track down and I can't bother to have Mean Look, and Mewtwo, just because there is no way a level 52 Charizard is going to bring level 70 Mewtwo down to even half health before getting KO'd.

I always used quickballs on roaming pokemon. That and just walking in and out of the route I was at. Worked eventually. Got Crescelia with that in gen 4.

Doing that annoyed me to Hell and back when trying to catch Entei back in Gold. Everytime I threw a ball at it, it'd escape and immediately run.
