It bothered me when they joked salt wasn't a pressing matter because its use as a spice, ignoring than the far, far more important preservation purposes... Then someone mentioned it in the comments and all was right with the world.

It took me forever to find out that's how he was pronounced. And that's even though our word for emperor bodaciously comes from it. Kaiser.

I have to wonder if Katie actually knows about Wu Zetian being one of the least trustworthy leaders in the game (don't quote me on this but I think she's tied with napoleon). I mean she really will do stuff like that to you most of the time.

Haha, and I just started playing Civ V again. Its an excellent time. I take inordinate pleasure in cheesing the whole thing sometimes, too, like having a map with no city states, and my only opponent being Venice. Some day I'll manage to beat everyone else to absolutely every single world wonder, but they always manage to grab one or two of them in the ancient era. Currently I'm just working my way through all the core factions I haven't scored victories as; Just need Suleimon for Master of the Universe.

As far as I'm aware, because who can really know since its a language passed down for hundreds/thousands of years, but the rule we learned in our Latin classes was that pretty much all 'c's are hard 'c's. (and 'v's are pronounced like 'w's. Veni Vidi Vici -> When-y, whid-y, wick-y.)

If you call him "Caesar" he's a salad, if you call him "Kaisar" he's a roll.

My first edit. Someone called for Smash bros?
It's ok Roy, you're more wanted than you know.

...

You deserve this.

What salad can be a Caesar Salad?

Any salad can be a Caesar if you stab it enough.

Is that why the salad fork is the one with the longer tines?
