Sometimes, I wish that harder difficulties would allow bosses to move. The only times that a boss shouldn't move is when the goal is "Capture Point".

I see you haven't played through Battle before Dawn in Hector Hard Mode yet.
And speaking of Hector, where's his obligatory no damage edit?

Sadly stationary bosses were interesting in Fire Emblem: Awakening. As if they're the only enemy unit left, THEN they start going after you.

I meant "Oddly" I have no idea why I typed sadly in there >_<

Uh isn't that already the only time the bosses do that? Bosses that aren't guarding the tile you have to capture to win the stage will become aggressive and start moving to attack you if you get in their range. At least in every Fire Emblem game I've played.

Though I mean the simple answer for Nintendo is to change the stage's win condition from "capture point" to "defeat boss" in almost every single stage. Like, I'm pretty sure sitting on the throne in Random Castle Stage wouldn't actually make the boss surrender.

Know what I'm hoping for in Fire Emblem IF? A stage where if you surround the boss, he teleports to another throne room and summons reinforcements that surround you.

Like in Ultima 2, in which the Boss teleports to another room after you strike her, then you chase her to said room, strike her, and she teleports back to the first room, and repeat...

That was freaking annoying...

Or my favorite, the Path of Radiance version:

>get to final boss on hard, feel like a badass
>final boss goes down thanks to lucky Aether
>final boss gets back UP and starts moving.
>RIP anything remotely squishy.

There should be a burger in Boyd's hand in that second to last panel.

that last edit is sort of like when you get the boss to break their weapon on your strong paladin and proceed to spend half an hour hitting them, letting them heal on the castle and hitting them again to train up your weak units

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm guessing this is Danomill (boss of that awful prisoner escape map). He's a general with a lance and yellow-trimmed armor, and he evidently doesn't move on Easy and/or Normal. Took me a moment to figure this one out, simply because I'm used to Hard, where, if memory serves, he'll jump ya!

I made a backstory for an old edit of mine :

I hope this clumsy archer will soon find one place to fit.
