Why has no one done this yet? It looks like it should be so easy! (I'd do it myself, but the only program I have that I could use is Paint. I guess technically I could use GameMaker's sprite editor and export the finished product, but that's not that much better.)

As someone who's actually a fan of Fate/Stay Night that image has always annoyed me since it's taken out of context of the character, having recently realized he's immortal, at least from bodily harm, saying he's OK with giving it up since people are supposed to die when you kill them, not get up and move on after regernateing.

Most cases of lines like that are caused by one of those cultural things that often gets overly bodaciously translated. There's an expression in Japanese that's pretty much the same as "resillient as a cockroach" in English (ie. someone who seems to survive no matter what you do to them), that reads something along the lines of "(that person) would not die even if you killed them".

Actually in this case it's more bad typesetting.

If the line still doesn't sound right to you, just read it in a southern accent. You wont complain about it anymore.

One explanation is that Katie is using it to have the character exaggerate the potency of the poison.

You could be quickly dying and struggling for life when something is killing you.

If it kills you, you're simply dead.

The page is likely using "kill" as future tense in the same way that one would use "killing" in present tense. Probably like if someone were to say "I will punch in your general direction until I punch you in the face," the general idea being that one would be punching, but no contact is being made.

One could also keep in mind that the poison would be quickly shutting down important tissues and organs, effectively killing different parts of the body until the target finally expires.
