I believe it's because of custom items you can get in the new Smash Bros. You can get items like new shoes, clothes, and hats that improve a character's stats.

I can just imagine it. Fox-furred coat, Donkey Kong's DK tie, the Ice Climbers' climbing boots, Ness's backpack, Metaknight's mask, the Falco-Pit feather hat...

Secondly, eugh, what's there to even do with that joke anyways?
I feel like we'd prefer better jokes from our never-frequent-enough-though-we're-grateful-for-them-but-will-moan-about-it-anyways AZ updates than one so... flat.
To be fair, though, I guess it would be funny if everyone remembered one of Bowser, Jr.'s alternate color swap's name, Roy, but not the actual 'full character' Roy's.

That nose is ugly. Use pretty nose from now on. Get ALL the hot ladies. Ruby, you're a girl right? Tell me best nose is Wa Nose.

I did think about that. However, I ended up being about 56.3% too lazy to pull it off - 8.4% being finding wa nose, 20.1% opening some photoshops, 13.6% pasting noses on faces, 7.3% plastering the speech bubbles in "wa."
Besides, you can't really expect me to work when I have glittery purple nail polish on, can you? Wa purple.

I also refrained from making an edit about tiddies or miranda's butt, where the second panel would've been perfect.

Oh, you definitely wouldn't be the only one. It's completely understandable to feel that way, but it's impossible to understand why. I really dunno what it is, but them pyscho smiles are goddang unbeatable. Even with that edit being out of context, it has a similar effect.
