And furthermore, why does Ike stomp on Meta like he's jumping for the smash ball, but ends up attempting to hit it off the ground? ILLOGICAL.

I've always thought why someone like Bowser footstool-jumping off of someone like Meta Knight wouldn't at least do some kinda damage.

But yeah, frankly, I like playing on the Halberd a lot, and thus I have seen the Smash Ball fall victim to the Combo Cannon. It's always usually that daisies laser, and now after seeing this comic, I'll always think that it will upgrade to SHOOP DA WHOOP when it happens. :awesome:

Also, related, human players apparently can never break a Smash Ball, and CPUs/background elements always can. And it makes it worse that CPUs get a Pity Final Smash after only one fucking kill, which is a bitch when it's Sonic who keeps getting it every other daisies minute, and a human player can die like 50 times in a row and not get a Pity Final Smash ever! And when the CPUs only go after the human players and hunt them down like the devil when they are in possession of a Final Smash, then it's--

the smash ball goes away. it just friggin disappears. no one gets it. probably the most anti climatic thing ever. i think ive gotten that to happen with the smart bombs too.

but still, funny comic, better than usual but she needs to work on some character model consistency stuff (ie head band) and for christsakes pits blades. WHY!? its like they are night sticks.

Why doesn't Ike have eyes in panel six?


And for the love of God, why is the sky blue? The comic would be a lot less confusing if the sky were the right color; the sky gives away Halbred the best.

Like H20man said, it's weird for the main sky to be blue...

...but when Ike raises his blade the sky turns red.

Emulating Japanese "art" can seriously damage your credibility.

But I agree that the action is the main problem. Especially around Ike. I'd forgotten he had a charge-up move and I didn't get that he was charging up in the comic.


I didn't get this at first because I didn't realize they were fighting on the Halbred. Could have used an establishing shot to clear that up. Also more detailed backgrounds, since the backgrounds were important in this one.
