When Calvin carries on like that, we see at least a panel peppered with him in various poses and gestures. Either that, or he's barreling downhill in his wagon/sled.

Sometimes instead of drawing better, you just need to draw more.

Ike strikes me as a bullying jock in this and I like the idea.

I think this comic is my favorite too! Even though it had a wall of text, it was a nice change, compared to the whole "joke in a random item in a random panel" type of thing. Also, I love the fact that she didn't explain it all in the bottom word-epilogue-summary type of thing she does down there. I usually read that before I read the comic, so it's nice when Katie doesn't explain the joke in there. :]
