This one is an homage to Turbro

That was my first thought when I read the comic too

Hey, the girlfriend is a statue right now. I think that means you're allowed to play the field.

When you guys say you missed some kinstone fusing, you mean the guys with the green (I forget what shape) kinstones, right? They share the same fuse list with every other person with a green (I don't know) shape kinstone, so even if you miss the prime minister and worry you'll never be able to fuse with him again, someone else will fill that gap. What you should be worried about is unknowingly finishing all fusions of that stone, because if you go back to that one guy on the list he won't offer it anymore and you'll be wondering WHY ISN'T HE READY TO FUSE ANYMORE WHAT DID I DO WRONG OH GOD I MISSED MY ONLY CHANCE.

They unlock things throughout the world in Minish Cap, whether it be rupees, sidequests, upgrades or required paths for you to progress through the game.

Oh neat.

One of these days I'm going to play me some Zelda.

After I beat Metroid prime...

Minish Cap is pretty great. One of my personal favorites.

If you haven't played Ocarina of Time and approximately six other LoZ games, get the f**k out of this forum. We wear green pointy hats and talk in grunts and wordless exclamations 'round these parts.

If you're going to start playing Zelda games now, don't start with Minish Cap. Honestly one of the worst Zelda games there is; it's short, unoriginal, and relatively un-fun. All the Wind Waker references only made me wish I was playing Wind Waker instead :psyduck:
The kinstones were kinda neat though, even if they didn't really make sense, and the sword's power (seen in the previous comic) was definitely the best part. The sky-people led nicely into Skyward Sword being the only prequel to the game.

Minish Cap was short, but didn't overstay it's welcome, and the nod to WW's design was nice, especially because it complimented the GBA's capabilities really well.

I'm not sure which Zelda game to start with. OoT would be a good one, but it's poisoned with so much hype from people playing it first, that I'd rather not encourage that any more than necessary.

LttP/WW Master Race.

The only Zelda I beat was Spirit Tracks.

I like the story and the Ghost/Armour Zelda thing, but it was really short and often repetitive.
A lot of the character designs had me irritated, too.

Ocarina of Time I think is actually good one to start with because one of the things that makes it fantastic/hyped is how approachable it is as a game. There's really no part of Ocarina of Time where I'm like "oh I have to get through this part before the game gets fun again". Gerudo Fortress sometimes comes close, but at that point chances are you're most of the way through the game anyway.
It really is a solid experience, you don't have to fall into the "everything about it was perfect" camp or the "it's absolute bawlz compared to the other games" one, it's just a solid game that manages to do a lot of things right and only a few things wrong.
I like Skyward Sword the best but Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and A Link to the Past are all excellent each for their own reasons. Honorable mention goes to Four Swords Adventures for focusing purely on the "fun" element and Link's Awakening for deepening the storytelling of the franchise.

Ocarina of Time is a good game. The kind of game that people should play even if they don't like the genre or the series. Plus the 3-D version looks fantastic.
