Ubuntu is a pretty cool guy
Definitely. Though GNOME ain't my thing, not sure why it's the most popular desktop. Yay for KDE 4. Modular GUIs, how I love thee.

MS's new campaign isn't bad. It's a rebuttal as pleasant as any to Mac's annoying commercials.
Eh, I find it on a similar level of annoyance, and only made worse because it is essentially like Microsoft was like... "Well we can't think up our own campaign, let's copy theirs and say NO U!"
It's made even more hilarious as we now know that Microsoft personally (but not publicly of course) acknowledges that MacOS is superior for video and photo manipulation, and created the entire campaign on Mac computers.

And I doubt even god could help you now Looper if you think Windows Vista is the best operating system available right now.
Smart, Karilyn.
Real smooth.
Seriously. Vista is pretty much a straight downgrade from XP. I'll uphold the merits of XP, but I cannot think of anything Vista does that XP doesn't do better.
I pray Windows 7 has Microsoft fully analyzing why Vista was worse than XP.
Windows Vista reminds me of Windows NT 3.x and ME. All three are Windows versions that were strictly inferior to their predecessors.
Honestly though? I think that was the point. Historically, Microsoft hasn't exactly been known for promoting fair business practices. Force users to get Vista when they buy a new computer, users hate it, Microsoft releases Windows 7, everyone runs screaming to get it in order to get Vista off their computers. It would be pretty in line with how Microsoft works their monopoly
