When I first picked up Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64 if you prefer) I was really confused as to why the pilots of the Arwings were just floating heads. Took me a while to realise that their bodies are kinda "painted" on below them. Go N64 textures!

So yeah, amputated legs are a doddle in comparison!
