The reason the Hero Shade exists is that in the Child Timeline, when OoT Link eventually died, he lamented the fact that he was never remembered as a hero (since he only defeated Ganondorf in the Adult Timeline, and in the Child Timeline he used his knowledge of the future to warn about Ganondorf's invasion and stop it) and that he never passed on any of his skills. Because of these regrets, he remained as a ghost unable to pass on.

Sometimes dissecting humor and criticizing points is its own fun. Not all good times come in the form of laughter, and not all jokes are so weak that giving them a fair bit of extra thought ruins them. Chill out.

...At the same time, when you go from dissecting the humor in the comic to discussing theories, facts, plotlines, and what character is the incarnation of what god/goddess, when, how, and why in the thread to discuss the current comic, it might be time to take it to a different thread. Personally, I thought that was why the Legend of Zelda thread exists.

I was originally going to have it without the leaves/flower petals/confetti/locust swarm, but it didn't feel enough like a good Awkward Zombie Marth avatar as it lacked that certain narcissistic, pompous charm we all know and love.
