There was actually some kind of copyright issue that prevented them from using Tarzan assets in Chain of Memories, but before I learned that I just assumed the game also wanted to forget about that level.

A funny comic with a fittingly genius post. :)

I have to wonder though, in the wake of all of these Kingdom Hearts comics, if Katie's going to make any more animated cartoons. That Mythbusters one was pretty good, but Flash is going to die next year. Is there some other type of animation software that can be used?

Flash will only be dying in the sense of the Flash runtime itself, since it's a janky pile of ugly code that is terribly inefficient and insecure, and we've been moving away from it for so long that it's barely used anymore as it is. The iPad's debut back in 2010 and its deliberate incompatibility with Flash kicked off a depreciation effort that's been going nearly a decade now. About no one will even notice once it's finally killed off next year.

But Flash the creation software - now known as Adobe Animate - will still be trucking along and is already able to export to various video formats or even HTML5 in the case of interactive content. People who use Flash/Animate as an animation tool won't have anything to worry about for the time being, from my understanding.

I believe this puts me on LockeZ's hitlist, so I shall proceed to run for my life.

Actually, we've been doing pretty good for the past couple of months. (Think last reference was in Flour Dynamics)

They were outright banned at one point. If I'm not mistaken, and I usually am.

Specifically Locke Z was after an edit with Tingle that bothered a lot of people, and he was the primary creator of Nowi edits anyway. With a line distinctly drawn and the person responsible for making them banned from continuing to do so for crossing that line and making it visible to everyone, interest in making them was pretty much non-existent even though people could.

At this point, jokes about how they're banned are funnier than the edits themselves ever were to begin with, anyway.
